This was the first film I ever saw starring Mr. Sanada, and I love it. I have watched many times, and I have also watched and read the original story [忠臣蔵], both film and written versions. I have enjoyed them all! Very important story. This film is a retelling combining the events of the original with fantasy elements. The writing, directing, performances, and sets are fantastic.
I loved all the performances in the film, and as usual, special thanks go to Mr. Sanada, as the inspiration for this video to begin with. Thank you for watching and maybe even reading this!
