 Music and Life

At the age of 11, Ka-jing is already a piano prodigy who has performed with professional orchestra in Czech Republic. But as he grows up, KJ is also growing tired of people evaluating him by his achievements in music, thus distancing him from his family and schoolmates. Contrary to his father’s wish, all he wants to be is just a "human being".

A documentary of a music prodigy, depicting his search for the meaning of life through music, dreams and family. Winner of Best Documentary of the 46th Golden Horse Awards and Best Film of the 2009 Hong Kong Film Critics Society Awards.
