《雏妓》

有人认为是这一年最佳港产片，无论如何，这是一次本土电影的漂亮示范。两时空交叉剪接，一段是少女Sara被包养，一段是她已身为名记，在市场挂帅的杂志社中角力；都是她的战争，前者用身体，后者用笔。邱礼涛处理两时空有条不紊互相呼应，没多余镜头，叙事清脆利落，母题和意象更首尾呼应。对不伦之恋不加批判的胸襟，港片罕见，那句在洁净版trailer被剪走的「我有畀你x」入心入肺。提提电影学院，要编进教材哩。

Sara

Charlene Choi delivers an astonishing performance in Herman Yau's gritty drama about tarnished lives and second chances. Disillusioned journalist Sara (Choi) travels to Thailand to escape her professional and romantic woes, and befriends young prostitute Dok-My (Sunadcha Tadrabiab). Seeing herself in the underprivileged Dok-My, Sara recalls her own difficult youth, including the emotional and sexual abuse she received from her family, and her lengthy affair with the man (Simon Yam) who helped to change her life.
