A Journey, My Love - Naomi Kawase's Retrospective

From the lush virgin forests of Nishiyoshino Village deep in the rural Nara Prefecture, to the blue coral gulf of Japan, Naomi Kawase explores the meaning of human existence and the secret between life and death found in nature's subtle humanity. This retrospective features six award-winning works from different periods of her career, including four feature films and two documentaries. Naomi Kawase evokes deep impressions of love and life. UCCA has also invited the film critic Muweier to guide the audience through wider perspectives of the films.

Muweier is a film critic, columnist, and judge of the Golden Horse Awards and Chinese Film Media Awards.
