Slow Burn is a series of mini live session for explorative sound and music performance in an intimate format under the new ACO Sound-On-Site program. Every time we will invite different innovative artists and musicians to collaborate on creating some challenging but interesting music.

Callum MacKenize (Saxophone / US)
Callum MacKenzie is a saxophone and flute player from New York. He attended Berklee College of Music where he studied Jazz Composition. Since then he has been a member of a number of different bands and duos in the jazz and avant garde spheres, notably Hong Kong's Composer's Union of New Tunes, Toronto's Lottery Tickets and Boston's Jazz Tellers. Wilmer Chan (Bass / HK)
Wilmer Chan (born 1985) studied at Lawrence University of Wisconsin and graduated in 2012 with a bachelor in music composition. Wilmer is deeply interested with the expressions and spontaneity of improvisation across all music genres. Musical highlight in the recent years includes collaborations with improvisor Sabu Toyozumi, Alfred Harth, Composer Martijn Tellinga and the Deep Listening Band.

Sin: Ned (Electronics / HK)
Also known as Dennis Wong/ Wong Chung-fai. Experimentalist and improviser. Co-founder of Re-Records, and founding member of experimental outfits No One Pulse, After Doom and adeō.

Sound-On-Site is a site specific program presented by ACO (Art & Culture Outreach) in collaboration with Twenty Alpha and Re-Records.
