This May, musiK11 brings people legendary Hong Kong indie rock band Qiu Hong's first acoustic set ever, as well as energetic performance by alternative rock band The Fat Jokers. The acoustic session is no doubt something special to look forward to.

Led by vocalist Jan, Hei and Andrew on guitar, Hippo on bass and Wah on drums, reputed local band Qiu Hong was formed in May 2002. "Qiu" is Autumn in Chinese language - a season entangled by thoughts and emotions, whereas "Hong" translates to the colour red, representing the band's glowing passion towards music.
Qiu Hong has performed in numerous high profile music festivals, including Midi Festival in Beijing and Shenzhen, Taiwan's Formoz Festival and Hush! Full Band Festival in Macao just to name a few.

The Fat Jokers
The Fat Jokers is a refreshing ensemble of musical talents - guitarist and vocalist Adam is joined by Fat Wong on blues harmonica, trumpet and keyboard, as well as Bike Kit on trombone, Matthew on bass and Keith on drums. Formed in 2011, the band draws inspiration from city dwellers' everyday living and attempts to capture various emotions evoked. Their style is heavily influenced by Reggae and Blues.
