Washed Out's first album 'Within and Without', released on Sub Pop and produced by Ben Allen, (Animal Collective and Deerhunter) received massive critical acclaim -(Pitchfork Best New Music 8.3 and Spin 9). Experimenting with electronics, influenced by hip hop, like Neon Indian Green heralded a fresh new sound; mixing the lo- fi aesthetic of indie pop with balearic beats and nineties trip hop.
In 2013, he released his latest album 'Paracosm' experimenting with vintage synths, this perfectly crafted album marked a new stage and showed that Greene was more than the just the King of chill wave.
