Richard Griffiths OBE is famous for his filmic role of Harry Potter's nasty muggle uncle Vernon Dursley. In real, Richard is a signing CODA whose parents are Deaf. He became the first patron of Deaffest (UK's Deaf Film Festival) in 2012. The documentary is an interview of him shot before his death. |

Deaf boy Jason loves dancing. He is aspired to show his talents on the stage in future. One day, he encounters a street dance master CK and asks to be CK's pupil. CK is touched by Jason's sincerity and decides to teach him how to dance. Beyond his main challenge of deafness, Jason has to deal with his teammates' boycott and his Deaf girlfriend's resentment. Can Jason succeed at last? In reality, to count the beats, Deaf dancers usually bare foot for feeling the vibrations from the wooden floor, or notice the direction of choreographer or sign interpreters. |
