Offering original re-readings into post-punk, post-rock & new wave entrenched in the swooping elegance of bossa nova, Nouvelle Vague are certainly no strangers to musical re-invention. The name itself gracefully sums up the concept of the group translating into 'new wave' whilst acting as a play on words simultaneously referring to three core facets; the artistic nature of 60's new wave French cult cinema, the source of their songs all drawn from post rock, post punk and new wave and the graceful use 60's bossa nova-style arrangements.

Brainchild of Marc Colin and Olivier Libaux, former group contributors boast an impressive array of female artists whom have flourished in their own careers. Among them, charismatic performers including Mélanie Pain, Marina Céleste, Camille Dalmais, Alexandra Pavlou (Spring and Suburbia) & Phoebe Killdeer (Phoebe Killdeer and the Short Straws) are all part of what is now called the "Renouveau de la chanson Française" - the Renewal of French song. Get ready as Nouvelle Vague are set to grace Hong Kong for the third time since their 2004 inception in what is already labeled as their most intimate performance yet! Love Da Records proudly presents an interactive performance that also features Alain Bernardin's world-renowned cabaret, Crazy Horse Paris. Concertgoers are in for a special treat as Parisian starlet Zula is set to share the stage in a showcase of talent that furnishes the famous avant-garde cabaret with all its majesty & allure!
