Hong Kong Chamber Choir
The Hong Kong Chamber Choir was established in 1999 with a specific mission of promoting and performing demanding choral works for small size choir. The Choir also believes that a good solo vocalist can be a good ensemble singer so the Choir places great emphasis on vocal (as individual) and choral (as chorister) technique. Consequently many members are also fine solo singers on their own right. Over the past years, the Choir has given a number of successful concerts including Schutz's Christmas Story; Handel's oratorio Alexander's Feast, Bach's St John Passion, St Matthew Passion, Easter Oratorio, Christmas Oratorio, Magnificat, Mass in B Minor; "An Evening of Baroque Motets", "Voice of the Renaissance", Handel's pastoral opera Acis and Galatea, "Vocal Delights Made in Hong Kong", Faure's Requiem, Haydn's The Creation and Purcell's Anthems.
