Yoshimoto Shinkigeki (English Subtitles) – よしもと新喜劇（英語字幕）

This video is the final project for my Japanese translation class. It is a subtitling of the Osaka comedy troupe Yoshimoto Shinkigeki and their play, Koi no Baribari Densetsu, featuring Shigezo (Tsujimoto Shigeo). As far as I’m aware, it’s the first ever full length English translation and subtitling of a Shinkigeki play. It is by no means perfect, and it took an insane amount of time, but I had a lot of fun working on it. Please enjoy!
