Takeshi Tomizawa in The Sand Room tied the record for answering one question with only one hint. The first one was achieved by Kentaro Motomura on May 5th broadcast (ep 8, four episodes before this one.)
Masayasu Wakabayashi and Miki Kimura in The Water Room holds the record for a successful escape under the shortest time limit. They started the Last Answer Quiz section with only 22cm (8.6614 inches) left and cleared the game with only 2cm (0.7874 inch) remaining. Notice that this was the first episode after a new rule was implemented (the water temporarily stopped after the player solved the third puzzle.) If this rule weren’t exist, they wouldn’t be able to clear the game.
