Ido (pronounced Ee doh) is a boy who recently died but doesn’t realize it yet. Aria, an angel of music, must guide him to the afterlife. But she can’t keep the truth of his death from him forever…
❀ Commentary
I did absolutely EVERYTHING by myself. The video, the editing, the art, the cover. I did it all! Except the original song, that credit goes to Trivecta. Amazing musician and producer, PUH LEASE check him out.
The backstory is that when I heard this song for the first time, I. fell. In. LOVE! So much so I wipped out a cover with mine and Fukase’s vocals on it in one night! The first version I actually still have, but it isn’t very good, so this is actually the SECOND version you’re listening to right now, which I produced last summer!
I’ve always wanted to make an animated music video, but since I realized I can’t actually animate (no duh), I went for an animatic style instead. Yup, it’s canon: I made this animatic for my final JUST so I can have a video for my cover. (ofc, I submitted the non-cover version as my final. Spoiler Alert: my teacher loved it! ^^) So now I can enjoy summer and continue my artistic activities. Will I make another animatic music video? Maybe. I have PLENTY of ideas for the next one!
