Snow Manが12月15日、東京ドームにて「Snow Man Dome Tour 2024 RAYS」東京公演を開催。岩本照は本格的な活動再開後初のライブ出演となった。＜ライブレポートVol.2＞
グループの4枚目フルアルバム「RAY」を引っ提げた同ツアー。RAYS＝9人の「光線」が集まり、大きな光となって、もっと遠くまで輝く、という意味。そんなSnow Manのその先の未来に向かって加速していく輝きを詰め込んだ1枚とともに、9つの光線が世界を駆け巡り、ライブパフォーマンスを繰り広げていく。同ライブは全国5都市13公演で61.5万人を動員予定。東京ドーム公演は12月18日まで4日連続で開催され22万人を動員する。

鼻の中にできた良性腫瘍の切除手術により、一部活動を制限していた岩本は、同公演より復帰。黒マスクを着けてパフォーマンスを行う中、序盤で披露したSnow Manのメンバー紹介ラップ「Nine Snow Flash」では、「ただいま」とマスクを外し笑顔を見せていた。
