作品について / Program notes:
“フィオーレ”の委嘱によって2004年に手掛けた「フィオリトゥーラ」に続く、フルート４重奏曲第２弾。
タイトルの「コロラトゥーラ」とはイタリア語で“華やかな旋律”という意味合いを持つ語句です。今回は音楽にストーリー性のある展開を持たせていますので、演奏者それぞれの個性的な味付けを期待しています。
また前作よりも可愛らしい雰囲気を漂わせ、旋律も歌いやすいものを目指しましたので、コンテストのみにとどまらず、普段のパート練習などでも気軽に演奏して頂けましたら幸いです。今後は中学・高校生をはじめ多くの皆さんに親しまれることを願っています。

Coloratura is another flute quartet work I created following Fioritura commissioned by the Flute ensemble group “Filore” in 2004. Coloratura means elaborated melody in Italian. Please enjoy personalizing the work and applying it to yourselves as the song follows a course of events. Since Coloratura is so lyrical, it should be good for concert or contest and for sectional practice as well.
