This video introduces you to Ms. Maru Kiuchi, one of Japan’s child models and actors. Maru was born in Tokyo to a Slavic Russian mother and a Japanese father. When she was ten years old, her family went to watch the filming of a TV show; there, a producer asked her parents whether they would allow little Maru to be on the show. That’s how Maru was scouted.
Parents thought that this would be just a one-time appearance; however, Maru enjoyed performing in front of people so much that she decided then to become an actress.
Maru’s hobbies are drawing pictures like manga and knitting. She is good at Karate and can speak American English besides Japanese and Russian. She is currently learning how to do skateboarding. In 2016, she got a job as a “Seventeen Japan” model. Good luck to Maru whatever she does.
