活动介绍：
每日走过旧街道，光顾的小商铺，遇上的老街坊，有多少曾经使你驻足停步，用心观察，耐心聆听？在这贪新忘旧，讲求效率的时代，我们开始失去耐性，品味生活细节，欣赏旧社区的人情。
 
2004年，圣雅各福群会社区发展服务与一群热心的社区人士共同建立 "湾仔民间生活馆"，期望透过公众展览、社区旅游、工作坊等活动，以保育及推广本土文化特色，同时凝聚社区的多元参与，建立居民对社区的归属感及身份认同。
 
我们特别邀请艺术工作者叶家伟先生，举办摄影模型工作坊，与参加者一起走进湾仔、油麻地老区，穿梭横街窄巷，透过摄影捕捉旧区情怀，透过立体摄影模型制作，重构老香港旧城的面貌。

Have you ever stopped to observe nearby groceries heartily and listen to old neighbours attentively?  You pass by all of these places and people daily.  In this ever-changing and efficiency-focus era, we gradually lose our patience on tasting livelihood details and appreciation of human touch in old community.
 
In 2004, Community Development Services of St. James’ Settlement and a group of enthusiastic inhabitants co-established the “Wan Chai Livelihood Place”. We aim to preserve and propagate the cultural essence of Wanchai through exhibitions, cultural tours, workshops and other activities. Also, we hope to encourage local participation in deciding the future of the district and cultivate a sense of belonging and cultural identification.
 
We especially invited Mr. Ip Ka Wai, artist, to hold a workshop of fotomo.  Ip and all participants will go back and forth all corners of Wanchai and Yau Ma Tei to capture the sense and impression of old city; and through the 3-D fotomo production to restructure the image of old districts in Hong Kong.
